When application forms become available, it will cost $465 to file. This price includes a $385 fee for the employment authorization application and $85 for biometrics (fingerprints). Fee exemptions may be available, but probably only under very restricted circumstances.

Can the EAD be renewed?

Furthermore, you can request an Interim EAD if USCIS does not make a decision about your EAD within 90 days.b.

What are “compelling circumstances”?

In regards to applying for your EAD, compelling circumstances could be a serious illness in the family or other on-going situation that prevents you from working.

When can I apply for DAPA?

It is still uncertain when the USCIS will begin accepting DAPA applications. In the meantime, however, you can get ready for your application by gathering documents that prove your identity, prove your relationship to a U.S. citizen or LPR, and prove that you have lived in the United States since January 1, 2010.
