It is not obligatory to enter a Social Security number (SSN) in Form I-90, but you should enter your SSN if you have it. A Social Security number is a 9-digit number which is printed on your Social Security card. You can also look for your SSN on your tax statements. An SSN usually looks like this: 123-45-6789.
