You must indicate your current annual income in dollars in Part 2 “Financial Information” of Form I-765WS. The current annual income means the total sum of your earnings obtained within the last year (12 calendar months). This sum includes: the earned money, support received from your family members, scholarships provided for living expenses. Scholarships for academic purposes are not considered as income. The money that you keep in your savings account, including money gifts, counts as an asset, not as an income.
